The Estate Administrator will be responsible for winding up the decease estates.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Relevant legal or commerce degree (required)
- Additional qualifications relevant to estate and trust administration (advantageous)
- FISA Membership (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years experience working with estate administration
- Tax knowledge is a critical element.
Internal Processes: Estate Administration:
- Administer Estates from the take on process to the distribution process until filed on record - ensuring all relevant Legislation in the Fiduciary space, as applicable to the matter, is complied with.
- Meet turnover standards
- Meet communication requirements as set out in the communication framework.
- Adopt a proactive stance on administering the estate.
- Measure such outcomes relating to the take up of Momentum products.
- Setting up the reporting framework to manage the Estate administration process for:
- Client preliminary interview and ongoing reporting at predetermined and ad hoc interval
- Leverage Broker involvement throughout the process to ensure Inheritance reinvested via Momentum where possible
- Masters Office and SARS engagement process
- Multiple tiered Estate administration process from Pure outsourced (under SLA) to actually doing the Estate administration work in-house.
- Provide all reporting including financials and turnaround times to pre agreed benchmarks
- Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate and contribute to a culture of work and client centric thinking, productivity, service delivery and quality management
- Continuously monitor turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues speedily to enhance client service delivery
- Manage client query processes and ensure that queries are tracked, accurately resolved and used as a mechanism to improve client service and business processes
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness and recommend adjustments
- Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that client expectations are managed
- Make recommendations to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within area of responsibility
