Role Purpose
- We are looking for a research intern to join our team and help us conduct research, analyse data, and create reports and dashboards.
- You will work closely with our Quantitative Insights specialist and learn how to use various research tools and methods.
- Deliver consumer insights to support the Metropolitan business towards the fulfilment of its purpose and strategic intent.
- Matric
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, economics, statistics, marketing or any related courses (advantageous)
- 0-1 year work experience in research environment (advantageous)
- Strong interest and curiosity in market research and consumer behaviour
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint (Office 365)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Assist in designing and conducting research projects, such as surveys, focus groups, interviews and immersions.
- Assist in collecting and organising data from various sources, such as online databases, social media, web analytics and internal Metropolitan data.
- Assist in analysing and interpreting data using statistical techniques and software with the help of a senior personnel.
- Assist in creating and presenting reports and dashboards that summarises research findings and insights.
