An exciting opportunity awaits you at Mondi South Africa. The Central Supportteam is searching for a Credit Controllerto join our business located in Merebank, KZN.
Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for risk assessments, receipt processing and monitoring of customer accounts.
Profile Requirements
- Grade 12 (including Accounting)
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Computer Literacy including MS Office
- 5 years relevant credit controller experience within a similar role
- SAP experience
- Manufacturing corporate experience would be advantageous
- Assessment of risk for new applications and re-instatements including liaison with credit bureaux and insurance company
- Maintenance of SAP customer master records
- Daily processing and allocation of receipts including cashflow forecasting
- Constant monitoring and follow up on due and overdue accounts
- Credit limit upliftment decisions in line with established limits of authority
- Regular liaison and support with both internal and external customers
- Continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Receivable Department
- Any other function required to ensure smooth operation of the Department
- Perform all duties with strict adherence to the Mondi Credit
