Job Overview:
Join a dynamic UK-based property and maintenance company as a Multi-Talented Accountant. We are seeking a business-minded, qualified accountant with experience in the property sector. You will be responsible for ensuring all payments, invoices, and quotes are accurately verified before approval, while leveraging industry-specific software. This is a fully remote role, but you'll be working UK hours, collaborating with a dedicated and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify payments, invoices, and quotes for accuracy and completeness before processing.
- Manage financial data using Xero and BigChange CRM software.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
- Support compliance with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) regulations, if applicable.
- Contribute to improving financial systems and procedures in a property-focused environment.
- Proactively manage your tasks and workflow while remaining an engaged team player.
- Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.
- Experience with CIS and BigChange CRM software is advantageous.
- Comfortable working within the property and maintenance sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A self-motivated individual with a business mindset who can work independently while being part of a remote team.
- Stable internet connection and a reliable computer.
- Ability to work UK hours (Monday - Friday).
