Celebrity Services Africa is a 360 degree communications company that currently has a position available for multimedia designer.
Job requirements:
- This position will suit a young, dynamic and friendly team player with a passion for the industry.
- Shortlisted candidates will be expected to complete a briefed task to showcase their skills in order to move to the interview stage.
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to work on multiple design projects simultaneously and will be required to manage a brief from conceptualisation to finished art.
- The ideal person must have strong technical knowledge and an intelligent approach to design.
- The applicant needs a good understanding of how to manage their own workflow according to prescribed deadlines.
- Applicant needs to be resourceful and flexible in adjusting him/herself to the briefs.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification
- Strength in Corporate ID, layout design, branding and typography
- Photoshop (intermediate experience in terms of retouching)
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- After Effects
- Microsoft Powerpoint
- It would be advantageous but not a requirement to be able to work with the following programs: Premiere Pro; Wordpress; MailChimp
- Meticulous and should take pride in creative work presented
- Must work well under pressure and be deadline orientated (quality control and speed)
- Must demonstrate strength in time and project management (must be able to juggle several jobs at once)
- Operates in a confidential manner at all times
- Shows initiative and a professional work ethic at all times
- Intelligent, enthusiastic, resourceful and team player
- Prepared to work occasional overtime when required
