Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education:
- Matric or NQF 4
- NQF 7 - Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- APICS/SAPICS qualifications- PPIM, CPIM - Advantageous
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain roles, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), demand planning software (e.g., JDA, Kinaxis), and advanced Excel skills
- Ananplan Experience (Advantageous)
- Drivers License with own vehicle
- Oral and written communication skills (Advanced)
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management (Intermediate)
- Microsoft Office skills, with specific experience with PowerPoint & MS Excel (Intermediate)
- Knowledge of database management & project administration (Intermediate)
- Budget & Expense management (Intermediate)

- Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to align product portfolio strategies with market demand and business objectives.
- Manage the lifecycle of products, including introductions, modifications, and discontinuations ensuring collaboration and communication to markets.
- Conduct regular reviews of product performance and make recommendations for portfolio or product adjustments.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather and analyze market intelligence and sales forecasts.
- Develop and maintain a demand forecast, adjusting for market trends, seasonality, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to ensure production plans meet demand forecasts.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and service levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Align S&OP plans with financial goals and budgets, ensuring that operational plans support business profitability.
- Monitor financial performance and adjust plans as necessary to meet financial targets.
- Facilitate regular S&OP meetings to align cross-functional teams on demand and supply plans.
- Present forecast, inventory, and capacity plans to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Implement strategic initiatives to enhance the S&OP process and drive continuous improvement.
