- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- o Sales and Marketing diploma / degree (ideal)
- o At least 4-6 years' experience within Sales Management role (ideally in the Furniture/Bedding Manufacturing/Similar Industry)
- o Experienced with several systems (Syspro, etc.)
- o Full understanding of product development and production costs
- o Microsoft Office

- o Excellent Communication and interpersonal skillso Able to cultivate strong multi-player relationshipso In depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team

- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a National Sales Manager for your area of responsibility, your functions will be as follows:
- o Develop and implement effective sales strategieso Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
- o Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- o Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
- o Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department
- o Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
- o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
- o Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunitieso Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs
- o Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- o Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on boardo Identifying new markets for the company's products or services
- o Negotiating pricing terms with vendors or supplierso Developing new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and contacts within the industry
- o Developing sales strategies and plans to achieve specific objectives or goals
- o Developing and implementing training programs for new employees on proper sales techniques and procedures
- o Coordinating activities with other departments within the organization, such as marketing or finance

- o Maintaining contact with clients, customers, or other individuals involved in the sale process
