Responsibilities
- Execute the sales/distribution strategy for the OMIG Retail Client team across all retail channels
- Retain and grow relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Deliver on gross and net sales targets
- Manage expense budgets within parameters
- Work with marketing to execute strategic events, and engagements
- Manage team performance and outcomes
- Engage clients across all segments and channels
- Work with operations and product to influence the creation of excellent client outcomes.
- Guide, upskill & lead team in terms of the distribution strategy
- Ensure strategies per individual client segment and channel documented and followed
- Tertiary qualification
- CFP or Financial/Investments post graduate qualification advantageous
- At least 6 years of experience in the investments industry
- At least 3 years of experience in managing sales teams in the investment industry
- Understanding of market dynamics and investment industry
- Demonstrated track record of managing sales teams
- Demonstrable relationships with key IFAs and bulk asset allocators
- Sales Strategy: The ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's retail objectives.
- Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Sales Performance Management: The capability to set and achieve sales targets, both in terms of gross and net sales.
- Marketing Collaboration: The ability to collaborate with the marketing team to execute strategic events and engagements.
- Team Management: Strong leadership and managerial skills to effectively manage a national sales team.
- Client Engagement: The capability to engage clients across various segments and channels, ensuring a strong client experience throughout the sales process.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: The ability to collaborate with other departments such as operations and product teams to influence the creation of excellent client outcomes.
- Distribution Strategy: Proficiency in guiding, upskilling, and leading the team in terms of the distribution strategy.
- Documentation and Compliance: The capability to document and follow strategies per individual client segment and channel.
