A well-established injection blow moulding plastic manufacturing company requires the above to manage customer briefs and deadlines for packaging requirements within the cosmetic and related packaging market. The successful candidate will work closely with the customer service and production teams to ensure timely and accurate costing of packaging solutions for various of their products. Minimum requirements for the role:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required for this role.
- Previous experience working in customer service, costing, or a related role within the packaging industry, preferably in cosmetics.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Basic Excel skills are essential.
- The company is also happy to train a graduate with no experience into the role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team are essential.
- Must be attentive to detail and be able to work under pressure.
- Liaising with customers within the personal care and related industries with regard to the packaging briefs they require.
- Liaising with customers to gather all necessary information regarding packaging to be able to cost products for customers correctly.
- Ensuring a clear understanding of customer specifications and expectations.
- Preparing cost estimates for packaging solutions based on customer requirements.
- Working closely with the production team to gather relevant cost data.
- Ensuring competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
- Communicating deadlines effectively to both customers and internal teams.
- Monitoring and tracking progress to ensure on-time delivery.
- Providing timely updates on cost estimates, production timelines, and any relevant changes.
- Liaising with the production team to understand production capabilities and constraints.
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of customer briefs, cost estimates, and production schedules.
- Generating reports as needed for management and analysis purposes.
