Specialist: Digital Marketing

Purpose of the Job

The role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive business growth, increase brand visibility, and enhance customer engagement in the digital landscape in collaboration with other business units from an organic, performance and data-driven perspective. This includes managing social media channels, creating and, running paid advertising campaigns, and Track and analyzing key metrics using various analytics tools to assess the performance of digital marketing campaigns.

The Digital marker should have an entrepreneurial mindset and great good leadership skills. The goal is to promote and expand the brands digital marketing activities which will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a seamless user experience, optimize conversion rates, track sales performance, and implement strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  • Conduct market research, analyze consumer behaviour, identify target audiences, and develop plans to effectively reach and engage them.
  • Provide reports and insights, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
  • Manage and find new ways to effectively use the DMP and leverage the audiences and segments created.
  • Staying up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and industry best practices is crucial for success in this role.
  • Collaborate and communicate with various departments, such as sales, data, product, IT, and design to align digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Establish a framework for social media marketing, focusing on earned and owned media channels. This includes leveraging social media platforms to build brand awareness, engage with the target audience and generate organic user generated content.
  • Define content strategies, community management guidelines, measurement approaches to effectively leverage social media for brand growth.
  • Develop social media strategies, create and schedule posts, monitor and respond to comments, engage with followers and measure social media performance.
  • Maintain a strong social media presence for the company.
  • Ensure overall compliance to ICS (Internal Controls Systems).
  • Drive breakthrough digital marketing innovation.
  • Integrated Marketing:
    • Multi channel marketing - incorporating all digital marketing channels together, through a combined digital marketing strategy, yielding a much higher return of investment for businesss digital marketing efforts.
    • Cross channel campaign management solutions
  • Project Management (Marketing):
    • Launching new systems and DMP set up for the company: Adobe Campaign Management & Adobe Audience Manager
    • Migration of servers (management)
    • End-to-end campaign marketing and tracking
    • Digital Marketing Pilot projects.
  • Data Tracking & Collection:
    • Website and DSP tagging strategy and implementation
    • Adobe Linkbuilder support
    • End-to-end tracking
    • Audience segments and traits analysis
  • Agency Relationship Management
    • AO Digital budget planning and tracking
    • Manage campaign budgets that agencies have been allocated to make sure it is utilized in the most effective way, to meet the relevant objectives of BMW.
    • Suggest media specific budgets for digital campaigns per platform.
  • Detailed evaluation of programmatic and search & social performance and optimization:
    • Campaign Management

  • Reporting:
    • Data Tracking Adobe Campaign Management & Adobe Audience Manager
    • Media agency digital marketing reporting (weekly, monthly & quarterly)
    • Ad Tech provider programmatic reporting (weekly, monthly & quarterly)
    • Post Campaign Analysis how to optimize and be more cost effective and use learnings for even more successful future campaigns
  • Support Consultant:
    • Support BMW marketing stakeholders for all digital media campaigns
    • Provide coaching on tracking and effect digital campaign implementation for BMW Group campaign owners
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Performance and Data-Driven marketing.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Strategy development and execution experience.
Competencies:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to constantly learn and adapt
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
