Training and Awareness
- Co-ordinate training and awareness programs for staff at an organisational wide level
- Reports security incidents, risk issues and general security concerns together with recommendations to IT Management and IT Committees
QUALIFICATIONS
- IT Diploma or equivalent IT qualification ( N+, A+, Information Systems, Informatics)
- MCSE qualification ( or studying towards) would be advantageous
- CISCO Certified Network Associate ( CCNA) qualifications (or studying towards) would be advantageous
- IT Security certification (or studying towards)
- Auditing qualification (or studying towards) would be advantageous
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years relevant experience in IT, Information Security, Auditing or related field
- 2-3 years in a similar Administrative role
- Good understanding of business environment is highly regarded
- 2-3 years of experience in Systems & Network Security operational environment would be advantageous
KNOWLEDGE
- Basic understanding of Information Security in line with ISO / COBIT, etc
- Basic knowledge of networking environments (Servers, Firewalls, Computers, Appliances)
- Introductory of Intermediary understanding of how to interpret security logs
- Good working knowledge of SharePoint & Excel
- Good understanding of Symantec EndPoint Compliance & Microsoft Patch Management (WSUS)
- An understanding and knowledge of the Banks policies and procedures
- Knowledge of the Company’s Code of Business Conduct
- Knowledge of report writing with ability to prepare statistical & Information documents
