Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, South Africa.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures, with a strong focus on Fortinet firewalls and Cisco core switches.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures, including LAN, MAN, and WAN networks.
- Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls for security and access control.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco core switches for network routing and switching.
- Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot network problems and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain network documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.).
- Expertise in Fortinet firewalls and Cisco core switches.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
