As a Network Engineer II at Wisper ISP, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team of talented professionals. Your primary responsibility will involve contributing to various network deployment projects and collaborating with fellow Network Engineers. You will play a crucial role in the design and evaluation of new wireless and GPON technologies, ensuring that our network remains at the forefront of innovation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, including creating method of procedures (MOPS) for change management, managing network capacity, maintaining the management network, and establishing power standards.

The Engineering Department will oversee core design, deployment, and administration, providing you with guidance and support. Your expertise will also be critical in network planning and design, with a particular focus on fixed wireless technologies. As part of your responsibilities, you will document design projects, coordinate with the NOC for network deployment projects, and contribute to the development and evaluation of business cases and standards documentation. Collaboration and teamwork will be key as you work closely with your peers to identify and address network issues promptly.

Your ability to diagnose and troubleshoot both internal and external issues efficiently will be highly valued in ensuring the smooth operation of our network. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in wireless, networking, or xPON, with a strong emphasis on design and planning, is essential. You should possess a deep understanding of network deployment projects, CAF network design, wireless access point design, and evaluation of new wireless and GPON technologies. Proficiency in creating method of procedures (MOPS) for change management, capacity management of access points and network circuits, and establishing power standards is vital.

As a Network Engineer, regular and predictable attendance is a must, ensuring your availability to contribute to ongoing projects and support the team effectively. You should also be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, both presently and in the future.
