Overall supervision of the entire provider network staff and functions duly associated with the department. Overall supervision of the entire NBCRFLI network staff and functions duly associated with the department. To ensure that a service of world class standards are maintained at all times for members to have access to an affordable healthcare networking system of providers of all disciplines according to the applicable benefit which the various members have chosen
Duties & Responsibilities
- Staff control and ensure all provider disciplines are serviced promptly within benefit protocol frameworks and maintain a data base of available statistics through various resources – internal and outsourced.
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with prospective and existing designated service providers in the healthcare industry.
- Continually ensure staff are trained, informed and updated to all company products and benefit protocols.
- Handles all escalated calls in mails on diplomatic manner so as to maintain a network of all disciplines according to a risk viable table.
- Has detailed knowledge of all products offered by the organization and the medical insurance business in South Africa.
- Participates in road shows for WWP for certain NBCRFLI employers and visits practices when required by the company.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Possession of a Matric certificate mandatory.
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers, members and professional service providers.
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. (understanding / verbal proficiency of other languages is an advantage).
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM.
- High level of enthusiasm, initiative and energy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
