Global Litigation Partners is looking to recruit a highly achieving law student or recent law graduate to join its team as a part-time Employment Law Paralegal.
Global Litigation Partners provides outsourced advocacy and litigation support services to an international client base and is currently seeking to recruit an Employment Law Paralegal to join its team.
The role will primarily involve conferring with clients via telephone and drafting tribunal applications for filing in the relevant court or tribunal. Full training will be provided.
Normal Hours of Work on commencement 15 hours per week / 3 hours per day Monday to Friday. Specific working hours are negotiable between the hours of 6am to 12pm Monday to Friday subject to business needs.
Superior telephone, written communication and Microsift office skills are a must, and the role may further involve general administrative and client-care tasks (non-exhaustive list).
Minimum Requirements
- Presently studying for (or recently graduated from) an undergraduate law degree with a reputable tertiary institution;
- Clear telephone manner and well-developed written communication, Microsoft Office and organisational skills;
- Preparedness to undergo a background check at the election of the employer, and a clean criminal history;
- Own laptop computer and reliable internet connection (if working from home);
- Languages: English – spoken and written (required); and
- The ability to work under remote supervision.
Required skills include:
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills, including a personable telephone manner;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work reliably, autonomously, and be self-directed; and
- A good grasp of Microsoft Office applications.
