Newly Qualified 2024 - Short Term External Audit Opportunities

• Years experience: 3 years audit experience (Newly Qualified Audit Trainee)
• Industry: General and Commercial, Financial Services and Real Estate
• Remote and Onshore opportunities (client dependent)

We are looking for soon-to-be New Qualified Audit Professionals on Short Term Assignmentswith the following minimum requirements & qualifications:

• Completion of an Accounting / Finance related Undergraduate degree.
• ITC / Board 1 Pass (Non-negotiable).
• Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA.
• 3+ years of audit experience.
• Completion of your audit training or articles.
• Not out of audit for longer than 2 years.
• Public Accounting firm experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Review and coaching of junior team members.
• Audit and documentation of basic and complex audit sections.

Preferred:

• Big 4 or Mid-tier firm experience preferred.
• Fully qualified CA(SA) / CA(Z).
• US, Canada, UK or EU visa / passport would be advantageous.

What you will do as a Senior:

• Provide a broad range of fully integrated audit services for our global clients.
• Providetimely, high-qualitydeliverables covering complex sections, with a reasonable number of workpaper comments.
• Mayfacilitate fieldwork, and coordinate deliverables from multiple team members.
• Demonstratesdepth ofknowledge of methodology, relevant standards and systems, andmay collaborate with Manager to guideassociates, interns andmonitorproductivityand workplan schedule.
• Proactively addressesclient concerns and escalatesissues as they arise.
• Interacts with clientsand engagement teamsto help ensure the information flow from the client to the team is efficient.

Note:

• Our client's peak season is January through April and during this time team members should be prepared to work extended hours; historically on average 55 hours per week.
• Should you be successful in your application, you areexpected to have access to an internet connectionrequiredto perform the function, and to ensure that the internet connection is uninterrupted and always accessible. This should be, at minimum, a fibre connection with a proven bandwidth of 20mbps upload and 10Mbps download speed, with alatencyof no more than 30ms. This connection should be sustainablein the event ofpower interruptions. The Company will contribute an internet allowance each month, while on an active assignment, towards this expense.The contract validity is dependent on theabove-mentionedcriteria.
• Audit experience and alignment to a specific level within SAPRO, shall be determined based on your individual audit exposure, technical interview and evaluation.
