NOC Supervisor
Helios Towers is a leading independent telecommunications infrastructure company, having established one of the most extensive tower portfolios across Africa. It builds, owns and operates telecom passive infrastructure, providing services to mobile network operators. Helios Towers currently operates in Helios in 8 markets in Africa and Oman in the Middle East.
Overview
To ensure that SLA targets are achieved for both customer and the site contractors. There are optimal savings across the network and customer satisfaction is achieved. Responsible for managing all access to and reporting and follow up on electrical outages for all sites.

Role Responsibilities
As a NOC Supervisor, you will be:
- Responsible for the management of NOC staff and adherence to Helios Towers standard job descriptions
- Responsible for the setting and review of NOC staff quarterly, biannually and yearly performance objectives, aligning with the strategic functional objectives
- Ensure compliance with latest Helios Tower policies, processes and procedures, identifying training requirements in areas of opportunity
- Responsible for the adoption and use of the NOC operating systems as per Helios Towers standards
- Regular check in meetings with Group NOC and Services Manager regarding processes and procedures to be adhered to
- Ensure all NOC policies, processes and procedures are adhered
- Responsible for the management of issues and risks identified on site, escalating to the relevant stakeholders based on the severity
- Responsible for liaising with internal and externals stakeholders to drive resolutions
- Responsible for managing all sites access from customers, contractors and service partners
- Responsible for the population and communication of performance reports to external stakeholders in line with the Service Level Agreement
- Responsible for the population and communication of performance reports to internal stakeholders in line with Helios Standards
- Ensuring all data is accurate and reconciled on time for inclusion in standard reports to support businesses processes and decisions
- Responsible for performing first line analytics to identify areas of opportunity, monitoring improvement to ensure benefits are realised from any improvements made
- Provide information and support to subsequent secondary performance analytics
- RMS monitoring and escalation of performance issues on sites
- Telecommunication National Operations Centre (NOC) related diploma/training
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years NOC management experience
- Data analytics
- Operational experience of working in Africa
- Experience in operating in remote locations and managing remote teams
- Must be conversant with, and able to demonstrate a pro-active risk based approach to HSE
- Ideally, they have experience obtained through formal recognized training programs and on the job supervision
