The company will offer relocation to Limpopo. There is a travel requirement in this role. You will be required to travel across South Africa to engage with local communities and discuss Land Reform.
Essentials for this role
- 3-year tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- 5-8 years of middle management experience
- Strong background of working with and applying the Restitution of Land Rights Act and Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act.
- Superb stakeholder management skills - which must incorporate working with local community leaders and individuals, governments officials and business executives.
- Knowledge of National Development Strategy and Sustainable Development Goals.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel across South Africa.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Zulu and Sepedi languages (knowledge of Sotho and Nguni Languages will be advantageous).
- Strong business acumen, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills.
- Advanced computer literacy: MS Office - full package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Manage processes for Land Reform, Post Settlement, and Community Development.
- Build strong, quality relations with key stakeholders and communities within claimed lands.
- Contribute to social development initiatives and sustainable development goals.
- Navigate the complex political landscape in South Africa
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective strategies for land reform and community engagement.
- Collaborate with diverse teams and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
