Position OverviewWe are seeking expressions of interest from dedicated Professional Nurses who possess an additional qualification in Nursing Education and are duly registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). The Nurse Educator will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and nurturing the growth of aspiring nurses, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in their careers.

Requirements Key Requirements:

• Professional Nurse with an additional qualification in Nursing Education.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of education experience in the field of nursing.
• Active registration as an Assessor and/or Moderator with the South African Nursing Council.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, evidence-based nursing curriculum to inspire and educate students.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback for growth.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate current healthcare practices into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursing program.
