Learnerships are offered by the hospital organization. Southern Africa conducts multi-disciplinary acute care hospitals whose focal point is to administer top quality care to their patients in a safe and welcoming environment. The medical team performs with the utmost skill and education to carry out the goal of beyond satisfactory care and extreme commitment to their patients. Southern Africa currently has 49 private hospitals throughout South Africa which includes two-day clinics and three private hospitals located in Namibia for a combined total of over 8,000 beds.
Learnerships Available?
We has many career options available. Currently, We are offering two learnerships in the medical field. One learnership course is for Operating Department Assistance. The second course is a nursing learnership. The learnerships program will offer professional training in nursing to attain a certificate of an enrolled nurse. Both courses run over a span of two years. All selected participants will gain the superior education and expert training to excel within the fast-paced medical field. The individuals who successfully complete the learnership will also be qualified to register with the South African Nursing Council better known as SANC.
Learnerships Requirements
Before applying for these learnerships, please make sure you meet all the requirements. Applicants may register any time of the year. Once the enrollment period is open, the applicants can then submit their application.
Interested Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South Africa citizen (RSA)
- Must have completed Grade 12 and have a Matric certification or higher
- Must have passed Mathematics with a literacy level of 4 (NQF) with 40% or higher
- Must have passed English Literacy Skills with a level of 4 (NQF) with 40% or higher
- Can NOT be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee
- Have copy of curriculum vitae to include with application
- Have a certified copy of their valid ID document
Once the individual has applied, if selected to participate, they must have a health evaluation and psychometric test completed before moving forward. The individual will then have to participate in an interview before the final selections are made. If the individual has officially been selected, it is mandatory to sign a contract with our recruiters before beginning their medical learnership.
Learnership Contract
Upon successful admission into the nursing learnership or other learnership programs, the fortunate individuals will be required to sign a contract. The contract states that the graduate will work back for Private hospitals double the length of time it took to complete the learnership program.
If the individual cannot successfully complete the program then he or she will be eligible to pay all cost of the program and administrative costs.
