- Provide proactive advice, coaching, and support to line managers on various HR functions and services
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, from job posts to reference and background checks
- Own the onboarding process and ensure new starters are ready on their first day
- Advise and support line managers on disciplinary matters and other employee relations processes
- Ensure data integrity on all People Systems and keep data trackers up-to-date
- Gather data for skills reporting and keep accurate records and supportive documents
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects.
- At least five years HR experience with a minimum of two years solid experience in a generalist capacity in Blue collar environment
- A degree in HR or related field: A minimum of a Bachelor of Technology Degree: HR Management or
- Experience with HR/ databases, Application Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management
- Proven theoretical knowledge of current legislation and HR policies
- Proven experience in Industrial Relations including the CCMA
- Sound knowledge of labor laws and policies that govern the defined duties

We are currently recruiting for a People Practitioner for a well-known ecommerce retailer (DC) based in the Montague Gardens area. The ideal candidate should have at least five years experience in an HR Practitioner/Administrator role. FMCG background is advantageous.
