- Matric (Not Negotiable)
- Accounts/basic bookkeeping qualification
- Sales and Marketing qualification (Advantage)
- Accounts/Debtors/Credit Notes/Sales Admin experience - not negotiable (Must have at least 4 years - accounting background, accounting workflow of documents experience/to understand the credit notes always come after the invoice)
- a Company car will be provided for sales trips. +-70 % of Sales will be in house and 30% of sales will be in field. - Applicant must have their own transport to get themselves to work
- Applicant to have experience in sales in the Mining and industrial sector
- Knowledge of Sales Conversions, GP's, Sales Cycles and Forecasting
- Well spoken, well presented with a positive/resilient attitude
- Be able to negotiate and present
- Be proactive - cold calling/new business

- Promotion of sales, conversions, and rentals of our products, so as to meet budget expectations.
- Preparation and submission of quotations to existing and prospective clients.
- General market development, identifying potential new clients and making efforts to secure their business.
- Perform administrative functions to complete the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry, correspondence).
- Proactively call on accounts on targeted lists through utilization of the customer database.
- Build on the customer database within targeted market segments via, prospecting, networking, email/e-marketing, or utilizing Internet information sources.
- Ensuring prospective, current, and future clients understand and adhere to the companys standard terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities for current and future clients.
- Handling of basic administrative duties such as day to day in and outward tracking of Containers, Credit Application Facilities etc.
- Active debtors management to always ensure a clean debtor ledger at all times.
- Allocation and processing of invoices for the branch.
- Resolve credit related queries and processing of credit notes.
- Basic office administration including, but not limited to switchboard operations and filling.
- Coordination of basic depot maintenance and repairs of Containers.
- Coordination and supervision of day-to-day depot activities.
With Regards To Sales
- Number of deals (Sales and Rental) closed by you. A sales code will be allocated and must be recorded on the relevant invoice.
- Growth in the rental fleet (number of units).
- Based on a travel itinerary, the number of calls on existing customers as well as new customers. (Based on cold calling and customer visits to customers requesting quotations.)
- Active involvement in maintaining an attractive sales and rental fleet.
- On a daily basis, the management of the Depot Controller.
- Ability to perform functions such as invoicing, tracking, debt collection and completion of PODs.
- Improvement of product knowledge.
- Weekly reports and communication as requested by Management.
- Active involvement in the daily running of the branch.
- The ability to function on your own within the depot environment.
