The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Manager is responsible for managing a coordinated and systematic approach to managing health and safety risks for workers within the organization/business.
The objective is to appoint a professional registered Health and Safety Manager (CHSM) with a minimum of 6 to 7 years construction health and safety experience and practical knowledge of the compiling and management of an ISO 45001 Safety Management System to manage OH&S risks and ensure compliance with OH&S regulations for our client and also on project/construction level.
Salary: R60 000 - R100 000 pm

The Occupational Health and Safety Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Programmes in Occupational Health and Safety / Construction Health and Safety (NQF Level 3 -5)
- National Diploma in Safety Management
- B-Tech in Safety Management
- B.Com Operational Risk Management
- MSc in Construction Health and Safety Management
- Critical qualification: ISO 45001 Course(s) - understand, implement and maintain organisations Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
- National Diploma (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
- BSc / B-Tech (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
- Honours (Building, CM, QS, Arch, Civil, Electrical, Mech) + Programmes in Construction Health and Safety
