Occupational health nurse practitioner needed in Northern Pretoria.
Job responsibilities:
- The main purpose of the position is to offer medical examinations at office and site.
- Medical examinations / occupational fitness
- Conduct compulsary and annual medical examinations, eg, full medical, acuity, lung function, vision, audiometry, etc.
- Conduct pre-employment and exit medical examinations
- Compile report as required
- Ensure equipment are in working order and calibrated where required
- Create health awareness by education, counselling and presentations/talks
- Create and maintain patient files and other administration systems
Job requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Occupational Health Nurse Certificate and registered with Nursing Council (SANC)
- Registered as an Occupational Health Practitioner with SASOHN
- Certificate in Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision screening and Dispensing
- Experience in Occupational medicals
- Willing to travel with a mobile clinic
- Computer literate
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong personality and communication skills
- 2 - 3 years Occupational Health Nursing Experience (references required)
- Remuneration: R21 000 - 25 000 per month. No benefits.
