The Digital Marketing department is responsible for Groups global digital footprint, including traffic generation and conversion across all online and mobile channels globally.

Purpose Of The Role
Working on different territories and sponsorships, you will be helping deploy content marketing strategies to promote the Betway website.
This position would suit someone with strong content marketing skills, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, and willingness to step up and drive SEO campaigns to success! You should have a desire to succeed and a curious mind, eager to master all aspects of search marketing.
You should have a good understanding of SEO and a genuine interest to progress in the industry and build your career. Naturally, you will be up to date on recent news and understand how SEO connects with other Marketing aspects. Your interest in SEO and willingness to learn will be supported with training and opportunity for career progression.
Duties Include, But Not Limited To
- Delivering the strategy and KPIs set by the Global Off-Page SEO Manager
- Researching and building relationships with specialist content suppliers who can help deliver our campaign KPIs
- Securing high-quality content placements on top publications
- Identifying opportunities in the market to improve Betways organic growth through off-page and on-page initiatives
- Leverage and contribute to the brand and content strategies to benefit SEO
- Supporting wider SEO strategies by delivering vital projects like keyword research, keyword mapping and technical SEO best practices
- Working closely with the content and sponsorship team to ensure the success of outreach campaigns
- Spotting new opportunities to use sponsorship assets in creative ways
- Identifying up-and-coming publications that align well with Betway, Sports, Casino, Esports etc.
- Utilise content to improve the digital outreach approach
- Maintain and optimise SEO landing pages as and when required
- Outline initiatives and actions to be taken to mitigate risks from an inbound link perspective
- Work closely with the Off-Page SEO Manager in scaling offsite strategy
- Hands on management of the content outreach and management approval process
- Understanding of how SEO can support brand campaigns
- Education to wider business in the importance of SEO
- Utilising Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and internal tools in helping to measure and drive commercial success
Essential Criteria
- Business level written and verbal English
- Passion and competent knowledge of a wide variety of sports
- Strong written communication skills
- Highly organised
- Attention to detail
- A diplomatic, collaborative and positive approach
- Must be able to multi-task and occasionally assist with wider SEO initiatives
- Candidate should have a genuine interest in SEO
- Demonstrates consistent behavior aligned to Combiined F and organizational culture
- Passion for sports
- Experience working with the press/journalists
- Track record of successful content promotion
- Knowledge of SEO software such as SEMrush, Majestic, Ahrefs etc.
- Proven hands-on SEO experience, covering content, on-site, outreach and tactical SEO strategies in competitive sectors
- A good understanding of SEO content skills
- Competitive verticals experience (iGaming, Finance, Health & Pharmaceutical)
