We need a confident, friendly, self-motivated and driven individual for maternity cover (4 months)
Duties include but are not limited to:
Answer, screen and forward Incoming phone calls
Take messages when needed and relay to appropriate person
Respond to basic enquiries providing accurate information in person, or via phone / E-mail
Preparation of and sending out of quotations and invoices as well as the allocation of monies received to invoices paid
Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times
Greet and welcome guests, as soon as they arrive
Prepare boardroom for meetings
Ordering and distribution of student materials
Students related admin duties
Ad-hoc admin duties
Scanning of documents, E-mailing and typing of documents
Minimum requirements:
A Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent Qualification
Computer literate - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Excellent telephone etiquette
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Deadline driven and able to work under pressure
Multi-tasking and time management skills
Professional attitude and dress code
Preferred requirements:
Proven work experience as a Receptionist / Office Administrator or similar role
Accounting at matric level and use of an accounting system
