Job Description
Driving the on-site SHEQ agenda. Responsible for devising best practices within the workplace to ensure health, safety, environmental and food safety best practice on site. To carry out all quality control inspections to ensure high standards are kept. Maintenance and measurement of occupational health, safety, and risk across the site.
Requirements
The candidate must have the following experience in the milling industry- (wheat & maize)
- Grade 12
- 3 Years Basic Occupational health and safety and Food safety training
- Advanced Computer skills, Word, Excel, Power point
- Drivers license and own vehicle
- Implement and maintain Integrated SHEQ management system
- Induction training to all employees, contractors, and visitors
- Microbiological sampling and General laboratory practices
- Assist with all internal and external auditing companies
- Daily inspections of premises and handling customer complaints
- Risk assessments and high-risk work, Incident, and accident investigations
- Food safety and quality compliance
- Ensuring all Health and safety, Food safety checklists are completed
- Creation and implementation of SHEQ management system
- Traveling between sites to ensure that food safety systems are order to minimize food safety risks and provide a competitive advantage for the GWK group- Remove- Only at Christiana
