- To accurately execute and process all work in the Trade Department in accordance and compliance to the guidelines outlined in Capitec Bank Policies and Procedures, aligned to the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP600), the Uniform Rules for Collections process (URC522) and clean collections.
Minimum experience:
2-3 years general banking experience
3-5 years experience in Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Knowledge
Minimum Knowledge
- Solid knowledge and understanding of: Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP600) documentary collections,
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Uniform Rules for Collections process) and clean collections (URC522)
- Good knowledge and understanding of Banking Trade system/s, Treasury/Forex systems and risks.
- Knowledge of the current INCOTERMs (International commercial/trade rules)
- Credit / Collections principles and life cycle
- Communications Skills
- Numerical Reasoning skills
- Attention to Detail
- Problem solving skills
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Clear criminal and credit record
