Job Description
This is a specialist role that designs and developments or/and maintains innovative product offerings; as well as manages, maintains, innovates and enhances existing products through its life cycle. Incumbent works at a team level and is accountable for service delivery within a function/team for time spans of between 3 months to 1 year. Delivers results through setting specific objectives, quality standards and timeframes, ensuring attainment of goals, diagnosis and interpretation of information.
- Undertake to provide support on risk and savings product launches for various sales channels by engaging on the systems and processes that support sales and servicing.
- Being able to access and provide reporting on information ranging from sales to monthly EXCO reports.
- Collaborate, scope, and plan various initiatives with various MFC stakeholders to meet business objectives.
- Facilitates the concept product propositions design and development, including the planning and management of the feasibility and prototyping testing/refinement, and changes.
- Develops and defines a business case for the product development/build.
- Undertakes effective ongoing stakeholder engagement and collaboration through all the stages of product development.
- Defines and develops the product CVP; and manages the final product testing and building with various business partners and stakeholders within a project-driven environment.
- Undertakes the functions (giving input into as well as dealing with more complex aspects of the following) of; rendering specialist product support, management of the book; product enhancements; and product performance tracking and reporting.
- Management of closed book and collaborating with stakeholders to effect changes where required.
- 5-8 years of applicable product and business experience
- Insurance and broader financial services experience in excess of 3 years (preferred)
