Responsibilities
- Enhance business acumen by gaining knowledge in order to carry out strategic negotiations with customers.
- Understand the listing targets by product prioritization per segment and outlet grading in order to deliver on portfolio selling.
- Understand the sales & listing strategy in respect of the sales commission / incentives and how they are calculated.
- Grow and maintain the customer base in order to achieve brand sales and listing target.
- Develop and report on a strategy to close listing and brands sales gap by analyzing the sales and wine list reports.
- Manage call logs and interactions with customers.
- Collect and Manage customer information.
- Collect and manage accuracy of Brooks list information.
- Collect and manage competitors activity to output level.
- Submit Sales Tool Audits based on all sales tools in trade.
- Submit feedback on trade promotion activities & cycle brief execution.
- Collect information and report / feedback as per operational or RSM requirements.
- Self-manage to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are maintained.
- Manage and anticipate change.
- Timeously submit operational required documents to respective departments.
- Manage and care for company assets issued to you for business use.
- Manage travel time, petrol usage and other allowances within the company standard.
- Timeously submit all expense reports.
- Timeously submit Trade Support Allowance Document.
- Grade 12 (Diploma relating to Sales, Marketing, Hospitality management or Food and Beverage is advantageous).
- 2 3 years sales and merchandising experience in a related FMCG environment.
- PC proficient (MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Drivers license code 10/14.
- Own car vehicle.
