Job Purpose
the Operational Excellence Director will be responsible to drive new business ventures / opportunities, explore funding possibilities, support the Learning Academy Unit in aligning the Quality Management System to desired standards etc. By increasing brand awareness, customer base and business ventures/opportunities this position will contribute towards the vision and strategic objectives of MPS.
Responsibilities
- Explore, Identify and achieve new business ventures/ opportunities in line with MPS strategic objectives and scorecards.
- This may include networking, lead generation, identification of potential customers, engagement with potential clients, developing proposals etc.
- Exploring funding possibilities in accordance with new business ventures/opportunities.
- Provide guidance and input on the development and implementation of the QMS for Meridian Group through setting the desired standards.
- Review POPIA regulation and support the Lead team in developing compliance requirements across the Meridian Group.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the entire customer journey. This includes addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, internally and externally. This may include analyzing their needs and expectations, and planning and
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Learning Academy, and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and successful delivery of services offerings.
- Conduct Risk Management assessments, and identify preventative and corrective measures to be implemented.
- Grade 12
- BCom Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce and/or Management Studies or related fields.
- Post graduate Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing and/or Management Studies or related fields. (Beneficial)
