A leading national company is looking to add a Risk Manager to their great team.
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- At least 5 years managerial experience
- Computer literate
- Travel off-site
- Sound interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement loss control programmes to safeguard company property and personnel
- Assist management to curb product losses
- Conduct investigations and report on findings
- Direct the activities of the security staff and manage branch security
- Evaluate and report on current loss control systems and recommend on improvements
- Manage staff
- Compile and manage fixed cost budget
- Manage safety in line with OHS Act
- Manage Health and Safety meetings as well as arrange annual election of Health and Safety Committee
- Ensure Health and Safety Inductions for visitors and new employees
- Investigate all Health and Safety incidents and take or recommend corrective actions
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all Heads of Departments
- Report incidents on Entropy system
- Oversee the following services: Garden, Cleaning, Security and Maintenance
- Discuss service level problems with procurement and service providers
