Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with the management of inventory, including procurement, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports and records.
- Liaise between departments to promote effective communication and operational alignment.
- Manage schedules, deadlines, and logistics for the operations department.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing documents.
- Support operational projects and initiatives as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Address and resolve any issues related to operations, escalating complex problems to management.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all operational activities.
- Proficiency with office management software like MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems,
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience as an Operations Administrator, Operations Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of business operations and processes in the meat distribution industry.
- High school diploma; further education in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
