What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You will work directly with the Operations Manager and Chief Operating Officer to provide operational and financial information to the investment team. This included setting up disbursements by verifying transaction information, scheduling and preparing disbursements, obtaining authorisation of payment, reconcile interest income by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds, preparing and emailing invoices, identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments, collect interest income by reminding delinquent accounts, notifying clients of insufficient payments, obtain and monitor financial information for portfolio and ensure counterparties comply with pre-agreed KPIs, financial and operational covenants, and compliance to loan agreements, review and process the security provided by counterparties in the portfolio and identify risks and weaknesses and report them to the risk or operations manager for further assessment.
Where you'll be doing it
You'll be joining an impact investment manager that specialises in trade receivables financing in emerging and underserved markets. They work closely with local financial institutions to provide funding and support. Their impact investment strategy helps communities grow and thrive by strengthening local financial ecosystems and helping them extend their global reach. You'll be based in professional offices in Century City where you will be surrounded by a small and highly qualified team.
What you'll need
A completed degree in finance or accounting is essential with at least 2 years' experience gained in a hands on operations position ideally in the investment industry. You need to have advanced Excel skills and be fluent in English.
