As an Operations Settlement Consultant, you will be entrusted with the ownership of reconciliation and settlement queries for users and mini-app participant products. This pivotal role involves providing leadership and guidance to the settlement resource responsible for general merchant, Value-Added Services (VAS), and settlement queries. Your responsibilities will extend to ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless resolution in all settlement-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation and Settlement Ownership:
- Take ownership of reconciliation and settlement queries for users and mini-app participant products. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of settlement-related issues to maintain user and participant satisfaction.
- Leadership and Guidance:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the settlement resource responsible for general merchant, VAS, and settlement queries. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the settlement team.
- Query Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve complex settlement queries, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the settlement process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in reconciliation and settlement procedures. Implement changes and enhancements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate with users, mini-app participants, and internal stakeholders to provide updates on settlement queries. Proactively address concerns and ensure transparency in the resolution process.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of settlement queries, resolutions, and relevant communications. Generate reports to communicate settlement performance and identify trends for improvement.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and development opportunities for the settlement team, ensuring a high level of expertise and competence. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in reconciliation and settlement operations, preferably in a financial or tech-related industry. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in resolving complex settlement queries. Knowledge of settlement processes, financial transactions, and related regulations. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
