What will you do?
The Fund Operations Consultant will be responsible for all the administrative, operational and reporting tasks for the Glacier MANCO and Glacier Consulting.
What will make you successful in this role?
The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Fund Operation Consultant:
Glacier Manco
- Facilitate and assist with all operational requirements in relation to our Manco
- Coordinating the launch, merger and closure of funds and all other investor related activities
- Setup and maintain relations with administrators, platforms, and management companies
- Assist with loading the fund on internal and external platforms
- Setting up and reviewing service level agreements between relevant stakeholders
- Review daily Manco liquidity warnings
- Assisting with preparation of the fund fact sheets
- Setting up and updating management reports
- Responsible for the quarterly Manco meetings, for example updating and distribution of management reports
- Distribution of monthly/quarterly Manco fund information to the relevant stakeholders (TERs Fees etc.)
- Provide support to our Manco sales representative
- Ad-hoc queries(internal/external) and reporting on fund growth
- Provide general operational and administrative support to Glacier Consulting
- Assist with the operational implementation of discretionary fund management, including loading, amendment and rebalance
- Run monthly fund fact sheets on Morningstar
- Onboarding and creation of investment guidelines for new CAT II clients (loading the wraps on the platform and client mandates)
- Distributing investment committee packs for Namibian clients
- Fund approval allocations
- Request asset allocations from asset managers (RSA and Namibia) on a quarterly basis
- Ad-hoc queries
- Completed Bachelors degree in commerce or related field essential
- 3 years Asset Management administration and/or Unit trust pricing experience
- Unit trust fund and MANCO accounting experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience within an asset management operations function would be advantageous
- Computer skills: MS EXCEL, MS WORD, MS POWERPOINT (Advance) & Morningstar Direct
