Operational efficiency:
- Streamlining processes: Ensure all aspects of the organisation's operations run smoothly and efficiently. This involves optimising processes, reducing costs, and improving productivity across various departments.
- Resource management: Oversee the allocation and utilisation of resources, including human, financial, and material resources, to maximize efficiency and meet organisational goals.
- Strategy implementation: Contribute to or lead the development of operational strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
- Environmental stewardship: The sustainability aspect of the role focuses on reducing the organisation's environmental impact as a business case for clients and the organisation. This includes implementing eco-friendly practices, reducing waste, and managing energy use.
- Sustainable business practices: The role also involves integrating sustainability into the core business practices, ensuring that the company's growth is aligned with long-term environmental societal and governance goals.
- Compliance and reporting: Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and reporting on ESG metrics to stakeholders.
- Work with the Finance Manager in building resilience in the value chain
- As a member of the ESG committee, participate actively in all ESG (environmental, social and governance) related activities.

- At least 8 years of experience in an operational role with a demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on expectations
- At least 5 years experience in a senior management role
- Minimum of a Business Management or Engineering degree
- Management/Leadership program will be advantageous
