THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS TO:ensure the efficient and effective running of the companys operations, aligning with strategic goals to deliver high-quality products and services to customers. This role bridges the gap between strategic vision and practical implementation.
The Minimum Requirements For The Role Are
- A minimum of 3-5 years in an operations management role AND experience in supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, supplier negotiations, contract management, and inventory control.
- Experience in developing and managing customer service and/or technical support teams
- Experience in an accounting system such as Sage will be highly beneficial
- A strong background in process optimization and implementation.
- Identifying and implementing improvements in operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Allocating and managing resources (personnel, technology, and materials) effectively to achieve operational goals.
- Using data and analytics to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Overseeing the integration of sensors with the custom IoT platform to ensure high-quality products.
- Implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team.
- Managing procurement processes, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Implementing effective inventory management systems to balance stock levels, minimize costs, and prevent shortages.
- Overseeing logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver IoT solutions on time and within budget.
- Coordinating with R&D, supply chain, and customer support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure successful completion.
- Developing and managing customer service and technical support teams to promptly address client needs and resolve issues.
- Gathering and analyzing customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leading, motivating, and developing the operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
