Purpose of Role: To load warm rubber compounds using the Blank Mill/Extruder machine in order to cut the rubber according to the required size or shape for the loading of presses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Technical: Conduct the pre-operation inspection, Check if machineries are in a safe working condition by conducting safety checks. Stack items in allocated areas and in a safe manner.
- To adhere to required protective clothing rules and ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
- Pack and label the blanks on the ranks for identification and collection. Identify any potential hazards and risks.
- Check required size, type and estimated weight of rubber to prepare workload. Load/Unload of rubber compounds on the mill. Cut rubber according to required mould.
Matric (Grade 12); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience working with rubber environment.
