Were on the lookout for an experienced and vibrantOrderflow Manager to oversee staff and processes within the Order Flow department, ensuring excellent customer service is achieved, and to be the contact person with business and technical knowledge for all businesses: SPPP, Trading Africa, Lignin, Lomati & Trade SA. The supervisor will be the go-to person and 2nd in charge for the Order Flow department.
As an Orderflow Manager, you will be responsible for:
Order Management:
- Oversee order intake and processing, ensuring adherence to set requirements for each business.
- Report weekly and monthly on orders received, provoking expert knowledge on business processes from intake to delivery and invoicing.
- Ensure the accuracy of orders captured in SAP and confirm orders within given timelines.
- Monitor errors and implement corrective actions to avoid financial impact.
- Manage allocation of free stock and stock movements efficiently.
- Attend S&OP meetings as a team representative and communicate customer priorities to the planning team.
- Provide reports and business insights to minimize small balances and provide meaningful information on order intake.
- Oversee resolution of differences between customer and company order books.
- Maintain knowledge of export documentation and compliance requirements.
- Manage orderflow department to provide support for escalated matters.
- Manage customer requirements and resolve issues in high-conflict situations.
- Serve as point of escalation for internal order processing and advise supply chain management on service improvement.
- Act as point of escalation for customers, communicating via telephone, email, and letter.
- Review early warning of credit account issues impacting future deliveries.
- Understand product knowledge and offerings for effective customer interaction.
- 3-year Diploma in Customer relationship
- 5 - 8 years relevant Order flow experience of which minimum 5 years in a Supervisory Role within a manufacturing/technical environment (specifically on the outbound Supply chain)
- Minimum 3 years experience using SAP/APO, SAP DPE, SAP CSR, TM, SCM and BW
- Ability to manage system changes and provide training on new processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle high-conflict situations.
- Proven experience in staff management and process improvement.
