What You Will Need
- Passion and Experience: With at least 4 years of experience in fruit or vegetable procurement, preferably in an industrial setting, you know the ins and outs of the market. Your expertise will be invaluable as you identify the ripest opportunities and navigate the packaging landscape.
- Educational Background: A degree in Agriculture or a B-com with an agricultural focus will be your secret ingredient. This educational foundation equips you to understand the intricacies of agricultural processes and their impact on procurement.
- Wheels for Success: Regular local travel is on the menu, including the possibility of overnight stays. Having your own car is essential to ensure you're always ready to explore new opportunities.
- Tech-Savviness: ERP systems are like your trusty sous-chefs. Experience with systems like Sage, SAP, or Pastel Evolution will empower you to streamline processes, manage inventory, and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
