PACS Application Specialist - Free State (Medical industry)
(Bachelor's Degree in Radiography/Management Information Systems/Medical Technology)
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Set up application training schedules with the customers
- Train customers on applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols of delivered equipment
- (re-)Train hospital staff on new releases/versions of the equipment - operating procedures
- Ensure all customers are provided with high quality training and is fully satisfied with the attention received from Vendors
- Report to Vendors on difficulties in optimal usage of the equipment
- Responsible for delivering customized training material packs
- Support user group meetings
- Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction
- Support and advise the sales force during acquisition
- Stay "on track" with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of equipment
- Manage the safety standards required by the company including:
- radiation protection,
- health and safety regulations
- Know the procedures to be followed in the event of hazards or accidents - involving the safety advisor from the regional office
- Ensure that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy
- Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner
Required Skills and Experience:
- PACS and RIS
- HIS Integration experience
- Common Imaging Modalities experience
- Various Training Methodologies experience and knowledge
- Strong service orientation
- Willing to travel
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to make decisions for customer training activities within given budget limits
- Able to reschedule activities based on customer priorities/requests
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiography OR
- Management Information Systems OR
- Medical Technology
