Job requirements:
- This position will suit a competent experienced individual with a minimum of a Grade 12 level education who displays initiative and high energy levels.
- The successful applicant must have a minimum of 3 years knowledge and experience of paints and the application processes related thereto as well as basic building maintenance knowledge.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to delegate and evaluate work performance, is essential.
- The successful candidate must be in possession of a valid code A (motorcycle) and code B (motor vehicle) driver's license.
Job responsibilities:
- The incumbent will be responsible for supervising painting teams to ensure adherence to the annual painting programme for the Village.
- Key responsibilities include stock control; daily monitoring and quality control inspections and liaison with villagers.
- Complete checklist following the completion of every paint job, OHSA compliance.
