CAD Mechanical Designer (Catia V5)

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Mechanical Designer to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of Catia V5 and a proven track record in designing and modifying aircraft components will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using Catia V5.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to design standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design changes and modifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10, 000 hours of hands-on experience with Catia V5.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field will be an advantage
• Strong understanding of aerospace engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
• Knowledge of aircraft materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
