All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Distribution Partner and Export Markets
Generate business growth in defined markets through new as well as existing Distribution Partners. Negotiate and align the Annual Commercial targets with the DPs in defined markets based on the Business Plan. Conduct business reviews with the DPs based on regular market visits and data collected. Analyze the opportunities in the countries and implement as needed to achieve execution and distribution targets to generate volume growth and drive the brand forward.
Business Planning
Develop with assigned DPs the annual business plans with regards to volume and investments. Manage the internal data submission according to the agreed calendar, prepare and present the plans to the management when required. Support the broader team in ad-hoc business projects to leverage growth and opportunities.
Reporting
Manage the monthly Sales Forecasts and Actuals Reports. Manage the Mid-Month Forecast to ensure all files are received, checked, and shared with the Regional Manager in time for submission.
Demand Planning and Orders
Update Demand Planning tool monthly considering Trade Sales forecast, lead time, and stock coverage. Generate additional orders through identifying opportunities and driving growth initiatives. Manage Financial Sales and payment status with DPs.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Bachelors or Masters in Business Management or related qualification.
- 5+ years of sales experience (Distributor and Supplier experience preferred).
- Successful track record in Consumer Goods industry (Beverage preferred).
- Previous experience and successful track record working in a commercial role in an African market.
- Knowledge of Export procedures for FMCG goods as well as pricing and value chain mechanics.
- Pragmatic approach and enjoys being in market driving sales growth.
- Strong communicator with ability to build network and grow partnerships.
- Strong numeric and analytical business acumen.
