Remuneration: The hourly rate of payment depends on the part-time lecturers qualifications and experience.
2024 rates: Junior Lecturer Lecturer Senior Lecturer Ass Prof /Prof R262 per hour R322 per hour R393 per hour R544 per hour
- The format of lectures can be expected to be face-to-face, via remote teaching, or a combination/hybrid format. Facilitation and assessment formats will be subject to change on short notice.
- Lecturers will be expected to have their own laptop computer.
- Successful applicants will be required to lecture on the relevant CUT campus and will be required to be available at
- The assigned subjects scheduled class hours, which may include work in the evening.
- An appropriate B Tech / Honours, Masters or Doctorate degree (depending on the level of presentation)
- Previous lecturing experience will serve as a recommendation.
- Experience with electronic education (Blackboard) is recommended.
- Registered with the HPCSA in the relevant discipline of practice as a medical technologist or medical laboratory scientist (except for Human Anatomy Physiology and Disease)
