Our 5* Boutique Hotel based in Constantia is seeking to employ a Pastry Chef to join their team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
Matric / Grade 12
Cooking Certificate / Diploma
At least one years’ experience as a Pastry Chef
Creative, hardworking and reliable
Good interpersonal skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation and production of all pastry, bread, dessert items
Decorate cakes and baked goods according to requirements
Create baked goods for specific diets
Plate desserts for serving
Ensure that the kitchen equipment is in good condition and meets all requirements
Cleans the equipment and utensils and maintains the kitchen clean and in good order for proper functioning
