Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing all payroll data.
- Ensuring employees are paid accurately and timeously.
- Preparing monthly payroll reporting
- Practice and live the Company Vision and Values
- Upload new employees on the clock in machine and ensure they receive their allocated tags.
- Pulling clocking data from the clocking system and uploading onto Payspace for processing.
- Processing wages, overtime, allowances, increases, new starters, terminations, transfers, bonuses, and appropriate deductions.
- Responsible for EMP501 reconciliation preparation
- Submitting all statutory payments to finance for payment (UIF, SDL and EMP201) and third-party payments
- Processing of all leave requests
- Promptly attending to all payroll queries
- Processing on Syspro transport invoices and submitting the approved invoices for payment.
- Ensuring that all Labour Broker timesheets are accurate, correct and invoices approved by the Finance Manager are submitted to finance for payment.
- Collating the relevant information and forwarding to the benefits consultants in cases of employee death, employee provident fund withdrawals and additional funeral covers
- Assisting employees with labour documents as and when required (UI19, UI2.7, Remuneration schedule, Certificate of Service etc.)
- Assisting with Ad hock finance projects
- Maintenance of employee files and confidentiality
- Must fit the Vision and Values Culture of company.
- Payroll or Finance related qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in processing payroll on Payspace
- Computer literacy Excel / MS Word / Power Point / ERP/Syspro
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Sound understanding of financial reporting principles.
- Organization skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive thinking ahead.
