Our Client, a leading player in the South African agricultural sector, is seeking a motivated and experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to join their growing team in Karino / Nelspruit. Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 600 employees, ensuring adherence to legislation and company policies.
- Tax Administration: Handle all tax-related matters, including PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other deductions.
- HR Administration: Provide support with various HR tasks, including onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and processing leave requests.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate payroll reports for management and auditors.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant labor legislation and ensure the company complies with all regulations.
- Other duties: Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as an HR & Payroll Administrator, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Proven experience processing payroll for at least 300 employees.
- Proficiency in payroll software, including Accpac Accounting, Sage, and Pastel Payroll.
- Strong understanding of South African labor legislation and taxation regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
