Job Description
To review the monthly Permanent Part Time and Permanent payroll input for the Casas for an accurate monthly pay run. Also responsible for managing Time and Attendance function in the Permanent and Permanent Part Time Payroll.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification in payroll or equivalent
Drivers License
Own vehicle
3 -5 years of experience in Time and Attendance administration and payroll administration
Knowledge

Casas month end procedures
- Coordinate the weekly EFT run
- Review and sign-off on reconciliation of third party and
- Garnishee payments on the Nandoca profile as well as the reconciliation of the cashbook
- Verify all payroll appointments, contract changes and terminations conducted by Payroll Administrator
- Generate Hours report and leave import from Kronos to import into Payroll.
- Review pay slips monthly
- Review movements/terminations/appointments report monthly
- Create monthly Short hours and overtime report
- Create monthly Permanent Part time report
- Review and report on weekly Time and Attendance scheduling
- Prepare the Weekly Time Detail report for management
- Review bank detail changes monthly basis
- Reconcile and import airtime vouchers
- Complete monthly comparison and reporting on prior vs current month financial information
- Generate a Weekly Comprehensive Audit report from the Time and Attendance system to audit and report on timecard sign-off removals
- Complete monthly and yearly financial payroll reconciliations
- Create Access profiles on the Time and Attendance system
- Resolve issues relating to the Time and Attendance system
- Log queries regarding the Time and Attendance system failures
- Ensure the overall health of system
- Respond to all escalated queries and requests
- Perform any ad-hoc duties required by the manager, including relieving sub-ordinates or Payroll Manager as and when required
- Monitor team schedules and delegate tasks in order to ensure that the departments operational requirements are met
- Actively manage the performance and potential of the Payroll and Time and Attendance team, providing on-the-job training, upskilling, coaching, mentorship and leadership to support problem solving, assess productivity and recommend changes where required
- Work with the People Team in dealing with grievances and disciplinary issues and ensure their effective resolution
- Create an engaged and motivated workforce by establishing an environment that fosters collaboration through effective communication, trust, enjoyment, wellbeing, learning and development
- Partner with the Payroll Administrators and Time and Attendance team to set personal development goals and provide feedback on a regular basis to build capability
